Why is my computer not turning on?

From childhood I had this PC of which I used to use all the time, but kinda forgot about, but recently I bought some Pc parts (PC case and power supply ) than replaced them.

At first it turned on just fine and I checked out my old files, but seeing as how it was late I decided to turn it off and go sleep when I turned it on again there was no response

Answer this question I have this problem too

What do you mean by no response? Do the fans spin when you hit the power button? Are there any LEDs on the motherboard that light up when?

Since you have selected a custom built PC what is the make and model number of the motherboard?

It turns on, and the LEDs light up and everything even the fans, but there's still no display on the monitor

what is the make and model number of the motherboard, CPU and GPU?

Make sure you're plugging the display cable into the graphics card and not the motherboard
