2nd battery not holding a good charge

I replaced the battery on my ipod classic, and it seemed to improve. The next time I charged it for 4 hours (I read online that that was the amount of time needed for a full charge) and now it lasted even shorter than before! Help!

David Roorbach, this of course depending on how you use your iPod. Try to charge it and make changes to your backlight settings, as well as other energy saving settings. Check on here for a bunch of good tips. If you are still not sure check on here to accurately determine your battery life. If it surely shows that your battery is below threshold, contact your vendor and replace the battery once more. Hope this helps, good luck.
