Screen has fading vertical lines

My iphone 6s fell screen down about a week ago, now the screen has fading vertical lines and an unresponsive screen sometimes, and sometimes it works. If I shut off the screen the lines are cleared away but come back. When the screen is responsive, if I lock the phone and open it back up, it is unresponsive again. I've tried restarting, force restarting, there are no more updates for the phone due to its age. Looking for a possible fix for this issue

Answer this question I have this problem too

This looks like the connections to, or an internal component of the LCD & Digitizer display has been damaged, and is likely the cause,

there is a iFixit guide on how to replace the screen, and parts available: iPhone 6s LCD and Digitizer Replacement

I had this issue when I dropped my iphone also, most likely you are going to need a new screen. As @conorbone said follow this guide to find out what you should do: iPhone 6s LCD and Digitizer Replacement .

I also had this issue when I swapped in a display (turned out to be faulty) and the connector was not connected properly resulting in a bad connection and similar looking lines.
