Can I use the original face camera again even after replacement?
I had accidentally torn the ribbon cable that was a part of the front-facing camera for my iPhone X as I was replacing the screen. I wanted to repair the old camera by soldering on a new connector and cutting off the old one, but I know that my iPhone has a "part repair history"... does this mean that even if I fix up the original front-facing camera the iPhone still won't let me use FaceID?
Is this a good question?
