Hi @tobi53651

By "tripping off" do you mean turning off completely?

Does this occur when running all applications or only the same one every time?

Does this also occur when running on the battery only?

by

@jayeff yes please

i mean't turning off completely

and it occurs when running any applications on my pc

it also occurs when the laptop charger is plugged in charging, but doesn't go off when running on battery alone

Hi @tobi53651

Just to eliminate possibilities:

Check that there's 19V DC on the output plug of the charger. If you haven't got a DMM (digital multimeter) try and use another known working compatible charger and check what happens.

I realize that you said that it works OK when on the battery only but create a battery report just to check the status of the battery. When you have the report, compare the Design Capacity value versus the Full Charge Capacity value as shown by the report. For a good battery they are nearly the same value. You can work out as a percentage the battery status by using the formula Full Charge Capacity x 100 ÷ Design Capacity

Does the problem occur when using the laptop in safe mode? If not then it may be a driver problem.
