Display error /Face ID

Quick question I have iPhone 13 it had 3rd party screen on it and the original proximity sensor on it was error about the display saying not genuine part put an original apple screen on and the original proximity sensor on and error msg went away for the screen, but I managed to get bit of water in the phone now getting Face ID error and display error and the proximity sensor isn't working now question is if I replace the proximity sensor will the errors go away? Or is the sensor coded? Thanks

Unfortunately, all iPhone models' biometric authentication systems' (Touch ID, Face ID) parts are software locked down, meaning that when installed a non-apple-paired part, it will refuse to work. The sensor, yes, is "coded", or married to the motherboard, unless Apple re-pairs another sensor to the motherboard.

You have two options: to not use Face ID entirely, or purchase the Apple Self Repair parts from their store; I will put the links below.
