I got code p0420 and check engine will turn on and go away in like a week what does that mean

@josueherna59854 P0420 is a catalytic converter code. It can come on if there are issues with the exhaust system on your car. We would need to know the exact year and engine size. Also, how does it perform, how is the fuel consumption etc. Details matter here:-)
