My tablet wont accept power or charge

my tablet wont charge when i plug it in and the power supplt turns off whith a small click sound and i cant find the board the charge port is attached to

@timyyyy it does not have a "charging board" the DC in connector is soldered to the main. The most common issues are bad DC plug, a bad DC in Jack or an issues with the charging circuit on the mainboard. Make sure that your charger is actually working. You also want to consider replacing the battery. Your tablet does not work without a battery. Your battery may have failed and may not even be seen by your tablet. If your tablet does not "know" there is no battery, it will not turn on.

A new battery will also provide you with known-well starting point for any further troubleshooting. Use these guides Dell XPS 18 to work on it
