What changed? Cable? Charger? Wireless vs direct cable?

If the charger and cable are matched to the phone capabilities you will get the fastest charge.

The only way to to know what is happening is to see what voltage is being supplied and what current is being drawn.

There are very inexpensive USB voltage/current monitors on Aliexpress.com to use for this troubleshooting.

Depending on the phone, charger, and cable capabilities:

  1. Regular charge is 5V @ 0.5 to 1A
  2. Proprietary fast charge is 5V @ 3 to 4A
  3. QC3 fast charge is 9V to 12V @ 1.6A max
  4. PD charge can be up to 20V

Without knowing the voltage & current, it is a crap shoot.

Just start substituting parts. However, you still won't know for sure if the parts are up to spec. without the above data.

I have had a number of chargers and cables that would not perform as advertised.
