Greetings Christopher,

A couple questions,

  1. have you pulled the spark plug laid it against the engine metal to see if you are getting spark? (careful this can give you a shock, use a pair of insulated pliers ) I usually just hold up the spark plug wire and lay it near the spark plug hole and visually see if i can see a spark while pulling the rope.
  2. have you verified that gas is flowing to the carb freely. usually you can check this by removing the bottom screw and visually watching the gas drip?
  3. have you tried putting a little gas in the spark plug hole or using a shot of starting fluid into the air intake to start the motor?

That are the three things i would start with.

report back and we can go from there.

Cheers!

Moe
