Soldering options for DS Lite

I accidentally broke the power switch. All guides I've found use a hot air reflow station to desolder it. Airflow stations are kinda pricey, so is it possible to just use a soldering gun with some removal alloy?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@cych yes, you can use a regular soldering iron. I am not a fan of soldering guns but prefer a regular iron.

Lots of flux and nice desoldering braid will work. Try some low melt solder to remove it. I'd use a bent tip to get to the short contacts.
