My samsung hometheater dvd control unit turns off by itself in 1 min.

I have this Samsung hometheater Series 6 (HT - 6750W). It is very old and unused for a long time (few years), now when I try to power it on it automatically switches off and shuts down I tried it repeatedly but same result, what should I do?
