@yash38646 "because of the raindrops" sounds like you are saying that it got water damaged and has rested (and rusted) for the last 9 years. Chances to get it working are pretty slim and I hope you recognize this. It'll be a good exercise and practice. Let's see what we can come up with.

For now, you must stop continuing to try to charge, sync or otherwise use your phone ( I know you have tried it to see if it will work ;-) This potentially can make a bad situation worse. This may further damage your phone.

The very first step I would take is to disassemble your phone. Since ifixit does not yet have a guide for this phone, use something like this video to help you disassemble your phone. Remove the main board

Now it is time to take a really close look at all components and connectors. Truly assess for any damage. Look for major corrosion, evaluate the pins in the connectors etc,. You will need to look at all connectors as well as cable ends. . Once you got any gross contamination (like rust and corrosion) cleaned, use 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and clean your parts some more. For a proper cleaning, use this guide. It was written for an Apple iPhone 3G but all the steps are still pertinent to your phone as well. I can not stress the importance of a good cleaning enough, so do it over and over while replacing the alcohol after each cleaning.

Do not use compressed air for the cleaning since that can drive liquid as well as corrosion particles into areas that will cause trouble later on. Do not use drinking water, if you need to use water, use sterile water. Also, you do not need to leave it to dry for a day after cleaning. Isopropyl alcohol in the higher concentration will evaporate quickly and dissipate the water.

The importance here is the cleaning. It would of course be best to get it ultrasonically cleaned Do not forget to replace the battery. This is a must and not an option. It will fail if you do not take care of it now.

After that, reassemble your phone and re-evaluate. For as long as you have not cleaned your board and replaced the battery, everything is just a guess. Keep in mind that water damage is the hardest to troubleshoot and to repair. It does not matter if is was exposed for 2 seconds, 2 hours or 9 years, what matters is where the water (particulates) did the damage.

Once properly cleaned and with a new battery installed, it is time to check a couple of things. I would start with the Battery circuitry as well as the Power circuit. Check the components with a multimeter. Use the Lenovo S920 Schematics to help you with that.

Now in your case, you do want to go ahead and post some pictures. You can do before and after cleaning pictures. Just make sure those are very well focused. That way we can zoom in and hopefully help you to get the phone at least somewhat fixed (very slim chances) Adding images to an existing question

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has a device with the same issues as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
