Kobo Libra 2: sealing crack in frame

I have a white Kobo Libra 2 with a hairline crack in the plastic frame. It starts at one of the screen corners and goes diagonally toward the corner. Based on internet comments, the white plastic version is prone to this issue.

I would like to seal or fuse this crack. I searched the web and called Kobo, but no one could identify the type of plastic used in the frame.

Anyone have a way to find this out?

Anyone have a suggestion on epoxy, cement, glue, or something else?
