Extremely dim screen after replacement

Hello!

I replaced the display assembly and battery on my Pixel 6 today, and after putting it back together, the display is extremely dim. It almost looks like a dead backlight on an LCD screen. Touch works fine, battery works fine, but it's extremely dim. I tried replacing the old display (I believe only the glass was cracked), but it had the same issues. What could be the possible cause of this? Could it be caused by the battery replacement? Did I scratch something on the connector?

Answer this question I have this problem too

That sounds like a logic board issue (if you know how) please test the output into the screen with a multimeter

This is a common problem when static build-up shocks the logic board and damages the backlight filter or backlight fuse. If this is the case the problem can only be fixed via micro soldering repair. Fortunately, the repair is straightforward and the components only cost a couple of cents. Labor will likely be between $50 and $100.
