Is your device set to play out through your Bluetooth earbuds and not through the speaker?
First, re-pair your Bluetooth earbuds to your phone, so that the phone can see that it is an audio device.
Next [If this doesn't work] is to reboot the phone and try again with pairing the Bluetooth earbuds.
If needed, remove [or "forget"] the earbuds in your phone's bluetooth settings, then re-pair them as if they weren't paired before.
