I have had this mouse for a couple months now but recently the scroll wheel had stopped working completely. I have looked online for possible fixes but they all were useless. Does anybody have any tips or ideas?

Is it even connecting to the computer and can you click?
If so try to replace the rotary encoder (this is just one I saw on eBay for ~$13 USD) use this guide but instead put the scroll wheel into the new sensor and reattach the cable
What about the wheel itself though, is it sticky at all and are there still ridges in the wheel? The fix might be to either clean the wheel or replace it(the wheel).
Also a free fix might be to just plug it into the computer but I don't really see that working

Thanks so much for the guide, I will have a look at it and yes it does connect to my computer, every button works and the wheel button. Its only the scroll
