Inverters Commonly Stop Working

We use these inverters with EGO batteries to power Thinkpad laptops on carts in a warehouse environment. They are basically used 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

At a certain point, they have all inevitably failed in the same way. You'll put a battery in, click the power button, and the lights will come on like usual. However, you will not be getting any power all of a sudden.

These issues come out of the blue, and are not a result of drops or harsh conditions. The issue persists with any battery, and the unit never works again.
