My X button is not working.

My X button isn't working but the rest of the other buttons are working.

I’m not a controller expert, but the button may be jammed in some way. I think you can try to release it by using rubbing alcohol or the contact cleaner WD40 around the button and repeatedly pressing it to let the cleaner seep in. Again, I’m not an expert on controllers, so be sure to listen to other comments.

Hi!

Okay, so do the X button actually clicks fine? Or is this not the case? If the "click" does feel weird and doesn't feel like an actual click, you need to replace the rubber. Also clean and inspect the other rubbers, if the actual rubber is teared, then replace it.

If the "click" feels fine and the rubber is fine, then replace the button circuit membrane to fix it.

Try spraying some WD40 contact spray on it and around the edge of the button and then keep pressing it a few times this should clean any dirt on the button contact
