I replaced the battery. Installed all parts correctly so far as I could tell. Did not encounter any problems. Tried to start it, with battery charged, tried to start it plugged in and not. Nothing works. Won't start. (Hate to tear it all up again, took 5.5 hours to replace battery).

Did you follow this guide? MacBook Pro 15" Touch Bar 2019 Battery Replacement Time to trace your steps back checking the cable connections. Its possible one of the latches is not down so the ribbon cable is not compressed or is not fully inserted. Did you loose one of the latches as they do tend to fly off if you press a bit to hard.
