Galaxy Book 10.6 Where to get fitting battery replacement?

My used SM-W620 NZKBDBT (64gb) just died after being left on the charger for a while. It showed 0% one more time and since then it doesn't do anything, except change the status leds color when the on/off button is pressed while it is plugged in. All of the offers online for a battery replacement were sold out, and I was wondering

A. What other option is there for me? Maybe another tablets battery with a similiar voltage and the same connector?

B. How do I get to turn it on atleast one more time or make it draw power directly from the cable?

Thanks in advance.

Connector of the battery (ignore the terrible screen in the background)

The battery symbol (when pressing power button) is always on 0% and doesnt have the charging-lighningbolt, and shows "unknown" when battery disconnected.

When trying to start with the battery disconnected it starts by looking as if it is going to work, but then shuts down

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@wongl73 some of this will depend on where you reside. A lot of these places do not ship batteries. Anyhow, the battery for your Samsung SM-W620 should be a EB-BW627ABA. This battery seems to be sold out at many places. Compatible batteries are

EB-BW627ABE

GH43-04711A

GH43-04720A

and those are still available at quite a few places. Again, remember that not everybody does the shipping of batteries to all places.

would my Galaxy M32 battery be able to power it for a few minutes? How could i tell?

by

@wongl73

No it won't.

The sm-w620 laptop battery is 7.7V and the M32 battery is 3.8V and no doubt the battery connector would be the wrong type as well

by

@wongl73 I do not belive that it would be compatible

@jayeff @hampter Would I be able to get a fitting connector somewhere and power the device with an external powersupply(have one with a little wheel) at 7.7V? I can not find any offers for the batteries mentioned in the answer.

@wongl73 where on this Blue Planet are you located? Country will be good enough. The reason why I asked because it appears there are places that have more possible sellers than others. Post some good pictures of your battery board /connector with your Question. That way we can maybe give you any idea on how to connect what. Adding images to an existing question
