Whirlpool Cabrio washer, model WTW8600YW1, stopped draining, and shows Ld diagnostic code. How do I know what to fix? Is there a manual test I can run?

Here's the tech sheet for the washer that may help.

Go to p.3 to view the possible causes of an Ld (long drain) error code.

Here's a video that shows how to replace the drain pump that may help as it shows how to access the pump so that you can check if the pump motor is OK etc. If the pump is faulty and needs to be replaced, search online for WPW10409079 to find suppliers that suit you best.
