Phone dead / rebooting after a small drop

Hello everyone,

my phone dropped about 40cm off of my couch and has been behaving very strangely since. Immediately after the drop the phone died. Its screen turned black and it wouldn’t turn back on. When it’s attached to a charger via cable it shows the colorful google logo and then just bootloops. If you hold a button during this process the phone will do nothing. When it’s on a wireless charger it shows the colorful google logo, shows that it’s charging and the battery percentage, and then it turns off. I’m honestly puzzled as to what’s going on with my device. Any advice would be appreciated.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Have you taken it apart and checked for internal damage? How often does it do a bootloop? Can you access the OS at all?

Yes, I’ve checked for internal damage but could see nothing wrong. The boot loop happens indefinitely, I’ve left it for about 5 hours and it just constantly bootloops. I could access the OS yesterday while the phone was on a wireless charger, but now I can’t access the OS at all

After letting the phone rest for the night I have been able to boot it into the OS after trying to boot it a few times. Only on the wireless charger though. When I enter my pin to unlock the phone it just relocks. Also what I’ve noticed while booting is that the „powered by android“ logo only gets faint and doesn’t disappear like it usually does.
