Generally this would be easiest to resolve by replacing the daughterboard that contains the charge port. Although iFixit doesn't have a Guide, there are plenty, like the one below on Youtube. Just be sure the model number matches since there is some level of variance of these depending on carrier.

Hi @scottratliff

If the charge port is damaged it is easier to replace the charge port board than to find the correct USB connector and replace it.

Here's a video that may help.

The charge port board can be seen being removed at 5:50 minutes into the video, but I suggest that you follow the video to see how to disconnect the battery at 3:34 minutes before removing the charge port board at the other end of the phone. This is so that you won't inadvertently cause any electrical problems when removing replace the board. Even though the phone may be off, there's always power on the systemboards somewhere. The power button is not a power isolating switch.

There are two different Galaxy A14 4G variants, an SM-A145 (non EU model) and an SM-A145F and they use different charge port boards. I assume that they're different as the have different Samsung part numbers.

Depending on your particular variant, search online for either GH96-15779A (non EU model) or GH81-23515A to find suppliers that suit you best.
