Why my Aspire 4320 Series enters a command screen when turned on?

My Acer Aspire 4320 Series enters a command screen every time I turn it on and the following text repeats over and over:

Operating System not found

(I know this is the forum for the aspire 4520 but the 4320 forum doesn't exist yet)

Hi @ianpcampos

The message you're getting indicates that either the HDD has failed or the MBR (Master Boot Record) files on the drive have become corrupted so it cannot boot into the Operating System.

Start the laptop and try to get into the BIOS menus by pressing the F12 key rapidly a few times.

There is only a small window of opportunity to get into BIOS and it is usually when the manufacturer's splash screen logo is on the screen and before it goes to boot into the OS.

If you can get into BIOS check if the HDD is shown as being detected by the BIOS i.e. model number of HDD etc.

If it is being detected then hopefully it is only corrupted MBR files on the drive. If there's no HDD detected then most likely the drive has failed.
