elisha, the SUD error on these machines is usually displayed when the motor control unit senses a suds lock condition by analyzing the current draw on the drive motor. This could be caused by a bad pump, an extra heavy load, excessive detergent, or excessive suds. "If too much detergent was used, run the unit through a Rinse/ Spin cycle then a Normal cycle without adding any detergent. This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.

• Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked

• Check Wire Harness connections to the Drain Pump, Pressure Switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU)

• Check/ Clean Drain Pump Filter of foreign objects

• Check Drain Pump

• Check the Pressure Switch

• Check CCU"

You can remove the lower access panel and try and check the drain pump while it is in a drain cycle. If the pump seems to be buzzing or vibrating but no water is being drained then likely the pump is bad. If you have a multimeter available, you can check for resistance of the pump motor.

If this is a front loading machine, there is a device panel under the drum.

Get a 2x4 or two, and tip the machine back slightly, slide the wood or othe prop under the front

Remove the device panel

Get a bucket.

You should see a clean out, carefully open the clean out making sure the bucket is under it. I don't recommend pulling it all the way out unless your drum is completely empty.

Remove all the debris from the cleanout

Replace the cleanout

Lower the machine

I ran my similar machine empty to make sure no leaks. And to clean remaining suds out

Replace panel

You should be good to go.

Thank you. I tried that and pulled out some debris. It still is not spinning. Any other ideas?

I am also having the same problem. The pump is functioning properly, there is no detergent build up, and the clean out has been cleaned out multiple times. Is there anything else I should be concidering before I simply give up and replace this machine?
