Power circuit problems with the motherboard.

A problem with my HP Z-Book 15 G2 power circuit. Repairing that by an expert costs a lot in my currency. What can I do? Another question: Can it run without its external Nvidia Quadro K1100M GPU?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

'Scuse me, sir, not as expensive as here. I was about to pay 1600$ in my currency to solve a small problem. Let's also not forget that the device I'm talking about is 10 years old.

What is the problem with the laptop?

by

@jayeff As of what the technician mentioned, the laptop has a problem in the power circuit.

What is the laptop doing or not doing i.e. briefly, what are the symptoms of the problem e.g. doesn't charge, doesn't turn on, no display etc?

"...has a problem in the power circuit.", doesn't tell much about what is happening.

It's like telling a doctor over the phone "It hurts" and nothing else.

If you only want to isolate the Quadro GPU, you can just disable it in Device Manager. The computer will then only run on the Intel GPU.
