Anti theft system/Lock system, stuck in learning mode

So I got an 05 grand prix, the theft system is in learning mode and I can start it, though I only have the valet key for it, I assume if.i just do the learning procedure it will take it out of learning mode though, I haven't tried it cause I'm not sure if my key will start it if I do and I'm not ready to pay for that headache , unless itl be fine if I do take.it out of learning mode, also having issues with the door lock switches only locking the doors and the trunk release won't work either cause it's part of the lock switch, but putting it into drive locks and putting it into park unlocks them just fine.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

If you do take it out of learning mode and your keys can’t start it use this method

*****THIS IS A COPY*****

Put the key in the ignition and attempt to start the car, the "Security" light should go on and the car won't crank. Don't move the key to the "off", leave it on.

  1. Leave the key in the on position for around 10 minutes, the security light should eventually go out.
  2. Turn the key to "off", wait 5 seconds, then attempt to start the car. If it starts, you're done! If it doesn't start, to back to step 1 and try again. You may need to repeat this process up to 3 more times to get the car started.
