so i got this black 64gb iphone 7 for free, the old owner said if i can fix it then he will pay me cash to get the phone back, but if the phone is unrepairable than its going to be e-waste
i need the money for my studies, y'all think y'all can help me?

To start. Is it recognised by a pc? If so probably backlight circuit suffering some sort of damage. Not the only answer ofcourse but a likely one for no image on the screen. As @david56209 pointed out in his comment, we need more information to give a better and more accurate diagnosis

well its not recognised, and i tried to replace the battery and the charging port, still no avail, almost burned my house down btw, the ic chip fried the cpu, thanks for helping out, im using it for parts then

We are going to need more information to be able to properly diagnose your issues. The phone's inability to turn on may have been caused by water damage or by a damaged lightning port that doesn't allow for it to charge properly. Do you have any more details?
