LCD replacement; is EEE important?

I broke the lcd of my macbook pro 15 mid 2015. I'd like to buy a donor (also mid 2015) and replace the screen. But I cannot know the EEE code of donors lcd beforehand. So, I'd like to know if the EEE code is important here or they are interchangable(assuming that donor is also mid 2015). Thank you

The EEE code would only be needed when working with a raw LCD panel. If you are working from a complete display assembly then that’s not important, but the match up of the assembly to yours is.

If you have a mid 2015 15” MacBook Pro then the Apple P/N is 661-02532 for the assembly. As this series was very popular and it also have issues with the Anti-Glare coatings there are very few displays available and only salvaged ones and people who have them aren’t eager to give them up!

So be careful a good one is around $500 USD
