Hi @shaukwan

Seems as though it may be a faulty LCD display or display board.

With the machine switched on try shining a flashlight at an angle close to the screen and check if you can see any images on the screen at all.

They will be very faint so trying this in a darkened room may help to see them if the are there at all.

If there are images then it may be a backlight problem in the screen, a loose cable connection between the screen and the control board (either end) or a backlight power problem from the display control board.

If there are no images then it could be the screen, a loose cable connection between the screen and the control board (either end) or a problem in the display control board.

Here's the section from the service manual for your model that shows how to remove the display module from the machine.

There is no wiring diagram or even a parts list in the manual, so the best that you can try is to, check the cable connections and they appear to be OK, check the board for any visibly obvious component problems e.g. heat stressed or blown components and then either replace the screen (hopefully it has some model or part number marking on it) or the control board (check for the part number on it).

I recommend looking for the part number on the part as I also have an F&P washer and had to replace some parts recently and knowing the model number of the washer wasn't good enough. You have to know the product number of the machine as well, because the same model number can be used for various machines that may only have slight differences but they use different parts! The product number is the 5 or 6 digit code that is shown after the model number on the product information label on the back of the machine.

If there's no information on the screen or the control board and if you decide to replace a part and you contact a local F&P parts supplier, having the model number and the product number of the machine will ensure that you get the correct part.
