My laptop is not turning on. Power button is just blinking.

Basically, yesterday, I was watching YouTube on my laptop when I noticed my battery was low. I reached for my charger, but right as I wanted to plug it in, the laptop shut down. I plugged the charger in regardless and I went outside for a walk. I stayed outside for about 30 minutes. When I came back, I tried to turn my laptop on, but it didn't work. The power button just glowed and turned back off. I tried holding it down for about 30s, but still didn't work. I decided to let it fully charge, which I did. The laptop has a little light that turns red when it is charging and white when it's fully charged. I noticed the light was white, so I tried turning it on. Nothing changed. I tried unplugging the battery, holding the power button down for 30s and plugging the battery back in, but yet again, didn't work. Anyone has any ideas? I'd really appreciate some help here. My laptop is an Asus Laptop by the way.

@bogdanol this could still be an issue with the battery. It may charge but may not hold the charge properly and can't supply the amperage required by your computer. Not sure what model your Asus is or how old it is but I'd go ahead and replace the battery. I would also check the motherboard for any obvious damage which may prevent it from turning on.

Once you have it open where you can see the motherboard, take some well focused and large enough pictures to post with your Question. That way we can see what you see and we can assist in checking things out.

I see. Thank you for this information. I will take some pictures and upload them. I am not certain what model my Asus is, but from what I'm seeing it might be Asus FX504G and it is less than a year old.
