I want to upgrade my memory in my HP 15-ec2097nq to have a higher capacity m2 ssd. And probably an hdd for bulk files (photos, videos, large files, etc.). How many m2 /sata slots are there? And what are the speed limitations. Thank you in advance,.

The laptop supports up to a maximum of 32GB DDR4-3200 (PC4-25600) sodimm memory over 2 slots i.e. 2 x 16GB modules.
There is one M.2 PCIe 4.0 socket which takes an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD (up to 2TB) and you can also replace the existing sata HDD with a 2.5" 7mm sata SSD as well (up to 4TB). If you decide to upgrade the HDD to an SSD ensure that the SSD comes with a 9.5mm spacer, which is placed under the SSD so that it raises it to the correct height to align with the sata connector on the board.
