Problem with oled screen

So recently i decided to swap out the back and bottom shell on my oled switch and thought i did everything correctly only to discover that it would not turn on, or so was my original thoughts. I remembered i had some issues with one of the ribbon cables, which later i discovered to be the oled screen one. So when i reopened the console, i made absolutely sure that all ribbon cables and cables in general were properly connected.

I still could not see the screen turn on to know the console was booting up until i decided to try to turn volume up and was able to hear noises from moving the joy cons around and verified that i got output when in docked mode.

so it seems the screen is not wanting to work, but i could not notice anything wrong with the ribbon cable. Is there anything i could do to try to figure out why the screen wont function or do i have to just bite the bullet and replace the oled screen?

i took it apart again and discovered something in the oled connector port, likely the scratched off piece of copper i discovered on the ribbon cable, blew it out with compressed air and put it back together and now the screen is working properly again.
