PFM006 SMC error in mac Diagnostics

originally the computer had a cracked screen and would randomly shut off untill one day it shut off and did not come back on. I replaced the screen and when testing everything out the computer was slow and the fan ran at 100%. MacBook diagnostics said there was an issue with the SMC.

I got a new board installed it and still doing the same thing giving the same error. tried with a new ssd and battery to make sure it was nothing wrong with those components and still the same thing.

So I am not sure what the problem is. At this point it is starting to feel like a Ship of Theseus. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer this question I have this problem too

This is a battery issue. If you can boot into macOS, download the Coconut Battery app. This app will show any issues with your battery.
