TI-84 Plus CE My calculator says: Validing OS calculator will restart

My calculator says:

Validing OS

calculator will restart when validation complete. And starts blinking over and over again and I cannot fix it, I tried to charge or reset it and It doesn´t work.

This issue is more common with newer TI-84 Plus CE calculators. Sometimes they won't charge dead batteries. You can try charging the battery in a friend's calculator or get a replacement battery.

If your calculator is within warranty, you can contact TI Cares and they may send you a new battery for free.

Try the following as they seem to be the most likely cause:

  1. Remove the battery and let it sit for ~10 minutes, reinsert the battery and see if it resolves the issue.
