Why is my washer getting stuck on rinse and not going to drain/spin?

Why is my Whirlpool combo model WET4027HW2 getting stuck on rinse? It washes/rinses fine, but then won't follow through to drain/spin and then done. After it completes rinse, it makes like a "reset" noise which drains the water, but then the light pops back on to wash. It never completes to Done. It's a brand new unit, just over a month old and new hoses as of two days ago when I contacted maintenance. It will also not work with cold water, only warm. When I try a cold cycle it just gets stuck on "Sense fill" and moves around but never fills.

Please help so I can inform maintenance of what to do.

If it is "... a brand new unit, just over a month old...." and not a used (2nd hand) combo unit, contact the manufacturer's customer service centre in your location and ask for a manufacturer's warranty repair or replacement.

If it is a used (2nd hand) unit, then here's the tech sheet for the model that may help.

Go to p.2 to view the procedure to enter the diagnostic tests - see Activating the service diagnostic test modes (washer) section

On p.3 there's a chart that explains how to interpret the status lights to know what the code is, if it fails a test. - see Fault/Error Code Display Method.

On p.6→p.7 you will find the list of the error codes giving and explanation of the code and what to check.

If there is a faulty part and it needs replacing, here's a parts list that is useful

Search through the parts to locate the wanted part, where you'll find the manufacturer's part number listed with it. Search online for the part number only, to find suppliers that suit you best.
