Need details of RAM type and frequency for upgrading laptop

I have a HP Pavillion G6 notebook laptop with processor as Intel(R) i3-2350M CPU @ 2.30GHz, 2300 Mhz, 2 Core. I have 2 RAM slots, only one inserted with a ADATA 2GB (1RX8 PC3-10600S-999) RAM stick. I need to upgrade it to a total of 8gb RAM. What specifications of RAM do I need to buy? Is it better to buy two 4 gb RAM or one 8 gb RAM for faster performance?

Also I need to upgrade the old 500 gb SATA 9.5mm hdd to sdd. What capacity and brand sdd would be best for basic PC operation with sometime media play?

The only combination that will work is 2 x 4GB RAM - NOT 1 x 8GB.

Same site for SSD. You can have 4 TB if you like.

You may also need a 9.5mm adapter depending on the drive dimensions.
