White blotch growing over the screen and disappearing intermittently

Hi there, ive just come back from spending some time away and my JVC LT-50CF890(C) tv has started appearing this white wash over the screen that comes and goes irregularly.

If i unplug the tv and power on after a bit of time has passed, the tv runs fine for a couple of minutes before it returns.

If anyone has suggestions of what might be causing this id appreciate the help, was thinking it was maybe a faulty main board or tcon board but not sure, cant see any noticeable damage to the main board

@bengray73588 that looks like a bad panel. Possible delamination or other panel error. Time to try and find a replacement panel. If you remove teh back cover, there will be a sticker on the sheetmetal back of the panel. That will have the manufacturer and model for your panel. Use that to do an online search . Even a broken TV same make and model as your (verify it has the same LCD panel) is acceptable for as long as it doesn't have a panel error. You can always try and harvest the panel from that.

Panels that size will cost you more on shipping etc. then a new TV will. That is the sad part on trying to repair issues like this.
