Sean here is some info about the camera "the primary camera is indeed the same image sensor Apple used on the iPhone 4: Omnivision OV5650, 1.75 um pixel pitch, 5 MP back illuminated CMOS Image Sensor." from here. A lot more info is found on here,and may further help you out.
