I would suspect a battery issue. You can try using batteries from other phones if you don't have any since this phone is so old. Find another battery that you know is good and touch the proper pins with the phone.

If I understand your question, the phone turns itself off after a few seconds again and again? If Yes, does this happen while it is charging? if not, you probably need a new battery.
