Hi @boostsocia39504,

What is the make and model number of the PC or the motherboard if a custom build?

What are the specifications of the new 16GB DDR4 ram module?

How much ram is already installed in the PC?

8gb already installed. HX432C16FB/16 Hyper

OR it's because he didn't enable XMP/DOCP Profile in the bios, most of the time you have to turn it on manually as it's not always automatically set. He also never gave any details about his configuration of how it's currently setup, he didn't state whether he was adding to a previous set of sticks or if it were new all together.

Hi,

I see the RAM you bought is rated DDR4-3200Mhz.

If you enter task manager (Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and navigate to the performance tab and click into the Memory section, what does it say? There should be a speed section and if its set to a low value, it will slow down your PC considerably (a screenshot would also be useful)
