Laptop fps drops and lags when plugged in

It runs fine, I can play assasins creed origins when not plugged in, but right after I plug in, fps drops so low and even ms word starts lagging. The charger gets superhot too.

Hi @nightranger,

Check that there's 19.5V DC at the output plug of the charger.

yeah it says output:19.5V=7.7A. I've tried changing the power mode to high performance too, but it aint helping.

Did you use a DMM (digital multimeter) to measure the actual voltage at the charger plug or just said what it shows on the charger information label?
