The Ridgid Tile Saw R4092 is a versatile device. This saw can rip through many kinds of materials such as natural stone, pavers, and porcelain. Is the switch physically unable to move, no matter how hard you push? If that's the case, I would suggest finding a replacement switch and replacing it if you're comfortable doing so. A switch that is physically stuck could be caused by multiple things, one possibility being that it has melted on the inside. Hence I do not recommend trying to fix the switch itself as it's not only difficult but could be dangerous if done incorrectly

And does the unit turn on momentarily when it's pushed in? If so a spring lock mechanism might have gotten damaged inside the switch. Replacing it is the way to go! :)

@tracystone sounds like this is a bad switch. It is okay to replace, just make sure you unplug your tile saw first. The replacement part for the R4092 is Ridgid part number 089041034151 and it is readily available. The switch itself is held in place by some spring tabs. All you have to do is use a screwdriver and lever it out of the socket.
