Hi can I upgrade my Lenovo ThinkPad x carbon 2nd gen hardware?

Hi my Lenovo ThinkPad x carbon has windows 7 . Can’t be upgraded and is a bit funky with memory and storage. I like the size, how light it is and the screen is excellent. Is there away to change components and how? If I can buy components my talented son will do the work.

Thanks in advance

@ronibenevat you are not telling us what you current specs are. You can't upgrade the memory since it is soldered to the board, unless of course you have the tools and expertise to desolder the current RAM. The current RAM IC's are a 96-ball FBGA package. The only thing upgradeable might be the SSD but again, it depends on what you have currently in your Lenovo. I believe that 1TB SSDs are available for this specific format. Your model only supports M.2 SATA SSD
