Randomly crashes and restarts

Hi yall,

I recently bought an used MacBook Air 2019, but it keeps crashing over and over again.

It happens randomly... after 5 minutes, after 10 minutes, instantly... unpredictable

Shutdown case is -20

Panicked task: pid49: bridgeaudiod

CORE 0 is the one that panicked.

SMC reset didnt work...

NVRAM reset didnt work...

Disk wipe and MacOS reinstallation didnt work either...

Guess its a hardware problem. SMC maybe?

Hope you can help me!

Thanks.

Answer this question I have this problem too

I'm suspecting the issue is the MacBook Air 13" (Late 2018-Mid 2019) Audio Daughterboard and here's the guide to get to it MacBook Air 13" Retina Display 2019 Audio Board Replacement

While it doesn't look active it is! there is a small chip on the back side which is like;y failed or the has received liquid damage.

Hey, first of all thanks for your answer! So the left speaker is working, but the right one isnt. So there might be an issue with that. Do you maybe have an idea how the faulty chip is called so I can order a new one? I dont want to replace the whole board.

And why does it instantly throw a kernel panic? And why so unpredictable? i dont think, that speaker are so essential so throw a kernel panic

@renax - The audio IC is a bonded chip on the back side its not replaceable on its own, you'll need to get the board assembly.

The I/O channel is shorting out some how is why the OS messes up which is the Panic call.
