iPhone 6 is completely dead

i bought an iphone 6 for parts because the screen was intact and the first time i charged it, it booted just fine but after the apple logo, the screen vanished with a weird blue wave and wouldnt respond to anything, then i managed to get it to reboot to the setup screen but as i was connecting it to wifi, the same thing happened and after that it wouldnt turn on anymore and was pulling 0 Amps and 5.11 Volts, i tried to swap the battery with a known good battery from a working iphone 6 and it still wouldnt boot, i also tested the battery that originally was in the phone and it worked fine in the other iphone 6

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Have you tried using the restore option? connect your computer to the iphone 6 using a cable and boot the iphone 6 into recovery mode, then on windows download itunes and open it then click "Restore" then wait for it to complete Or if you have a older mac use itunes the same way or newer macbook use finder and click "Restore" this should fix the software after it is done
Let me know if there's any developments! Cheers!

If restoring the device isn't working then it's likely the motherboard, probably the things that work with power from the battery

I cant get it to work with iTunes or 3utools since the computer doesn't detect it, i would assume it is indeed something to do with charging components on the motherboard that failed but the fact the display would glitch out when on setup before completely dying leads me to believe a main component like the cpu or gpu might have failed, imo since find my iPhone is on on it despite it having no icloud ill probably buy another motherboard, atleast i got a great deal on an intact display

Hi @carlazorthefith

You should replace the charging component and the motherboard since the computer connection doesn't work.

Cheers!
