Freezer won’t get cold!

I have tried resetting the panel, cleaning and inspecting all coils, fan runs, compressor runs, fridge gets cold but freezer won’t! Feels like I’m getting air through the vents but won’t get cold! What else do I need to troubleshoot?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi @junemtnman

Here's the RF267AA Fast Track Troubleshooting guide that may help.

Run the Self Diagnosis diagnostic tests as shown in the guide and check if any error codes are being displayed.

Hopefully a start.

Jayeff thx for the answer! I’m going to troubleshoot as soon as I can. I think it has something to do with the refrigerant not getting to the proper spot if that’s possible? I am no expert with refers, that’s for sure! I appreciate your time and answers, the troubleshooting guide is going to help me a bunch I feel! Anything else you can think of don’t hesitate please.

@junemtnman

What is the actual temperature in the freezer compartment?

Your model has two evaporator units, (where the cold temp is produced) one in each compartment (refrigerator and freezer) and the refrigerant flows through both in series connection i.e. compressor → → freezer evap unit → refrigerator evap unit → condenser coil → compressor.

If it were a refrigerant problem then it would normally affect both compartments

55 degrees freezer 36 degrees refer
