Forgot the slicone pad

Hello, after finishig my repair i sadly noticed, that i forgot to install the silicone pad in the smartphone (Google Pixel 7). Now i wonder if its a big problem and if i have to re-open it again. Or is this silicone pad unimportant or what is the point of that component? Thank you for your answers!
