When moving my laptop around, the screen glitches and freezes.

I have this issue mostly when i pick up my laptop too fast with one hand or when i keep it on my lap.

The screen glitches (shows pink and green pixels in random spots) then freezes, or if it doesnt freeze, it shows a blue screen with no error indication.

This is not a software issue 100%, i have reinstall windows twice and problem persists.

Please advice what to do

Answer this question I have this problem too

@tanishvarma first you want to rule out a GPU error. Attach an external monitor and see if that stays on. If so, you know the issue is with your LCD monitor. It could be related to a bad display connector but most likely is a loose or broken display cable. Download the service manual for your computer from here Page 38 deals with the display assembly and the display cable.

it still goes to a blue screen

@tanishvarma like I mentioned in my answer, if it still does that even with an external monitor connected, it's time to disassemble your laptop. most likely it is a loose or broken display cable or display connector.

Personally, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to pick up a device like a laptop with one hand especially by the corner of the keyboard, as it can stretch the components on the inside. I’ve experienced this myself a few times, and stopped picking up laptops with one hand because I believe it’s from what I mentioned above. I believe it’s a structural weakness, similar to grabbing a piece of bread by the corner. I don’t know the specifics of your device, but I’ve experienced similarities with HP and Apple laptops. I’m not sure the specifics of your laptop, if the blue screen is stuck? Or if it’s just when you are grabbing it like you mentioned above? Also if it’s glitching in your lap it could be a heat issue?

Okay, I shoudve specified from where i hold it thats my bad, i pick it up from the centre.

But yes i do believe that the pressure is causing the problem since the base is plastic

Yeah, I wouldn’t worry too much, 😂 Just maybe use two hands haha. Hope it helps 😊 If you notice anything more after two hands, just mention it in the post. I’m sure there will be someone down to help, including myself. If not nothing to worry about.👍Also if your screen blacks out, you can plug HDMI cable into the laptop & into a TV or monitor, just like a gaming console and you can trouble shoot the laptop from the tv or monitor before taking the laptop apart.
